On May 28th, we presented La Casa Vitra at Es Baluard Museu, an ephemeral installation conceived to bring the Vitra universe into an everyday, livable setting.

The proposal transformed the iconic Aljub into a contemporary space where design coexisted naturally with the historic architecture and the experience of those who visited the installation.

At Espacio Home Design, we explore the relationship between design and everyday life by creating a space intended to be lived in rather than simply observed. Far from a conventional exhibition setting, the installation invited visitors to interact directly with the pieces and discover how design can integrate organically into the spaces we inhabit.

La Casa Vitra also emerged from our relationship with the brand, which has been part of our portfolio for the past year, and from the desire to bring its vision of design into a real, approachable, and livable space.

The installation brought together a selection of iconic pieces by some of the most influential figures in the history of contemporary design, including Charles and Ray Eames and Jean Prouvé, alongside key figures such as Isamu Noguchi and Verner Panton.

The event concluded with a private gathering where we were able to share the experience of La Casa Vitra in a truly special atmosphere. The evening began with a guided tour of the installation, followed by an exquisite catering experience by Fosh, specially created for the occasion. Designed in dialogue with the Vitra universe, the gastronomic proposal incorporated subtle references to the world of design through a selection of dishes and cocktails conceived exclusively for the event.

In addition, throughout the day we hosted an open house for professionals and individuals connected to the fields of design, architecture, and interior design, who had the opportunity to experience and explore the installation at the Aljub firsthand.

Sharing this experience, surrounded by design, conversation, and such a unique setting, made it a truly memorable occasion.
